The idea of the project focuses on the figure of the rebel. Born during confinements as a form of solitary experimentation between movement, sound and voice to question the rules imposed and those we impose on ourselves, over time it structures itself around the term of resistance. The choreographic research is based on the study of of recent events of unrest. By reconstituting these actions like scores, the dancer repeats the gestures, redefines the spatial composition, explores the tensions, articulates movement between fragility and empowerment. Until these gestures, removed from their original context, lose their prosaic side to become choreography. The dancer reacts to the soundtrack which consists of a live voice and noise recording, echoes of resistance movements in Eastern Europe and a traditional Lithuanian polyphonic song where a woman addresses a partisan looking back on the moment he dissapears in the forest to join the resistance. The solitary voice of the dancer is mixed by a loop station which multiplies it such as a choir, human microphone used in protest contexts or polyphonic chants in order to produce an immersive collectif experience.
